Programme

Archives Alive 2026 brings together three landmark events across Mdina and Valletta. The celebrations open with an Open Archives Weekend, offering behind-the-scenes access to rare manuscripts, guided tours, and family activities at Mdina Cathedral Archives. This is followed by an International Seminar gathering leading scholars to explore Benigno Zerafa's music, legacy, and the world of Maltese Baroque. The programme culminates in a gala Concert featuring his works performed in the historic setting of Mdina Cathedral.
